A New Approach to Heritage Sing!

Recognized worldwide, Sing the Alentejo is the Portuguese cultural identity of this region and was lionized the 27 November 2014, with the feeling and emotions of a secular tradition to be considered Intangible Heritage of Humanity, by UNESCO.Com a clear approach to new music trends, without barriers or boundaries demarcated and close to the younger generations, MONDA the project has created a contemporary approach to Sing Alentejo, mixing the traditional with the new composition sounds of World Music.
MONDA was born from the will of its actors Jorge Roque, Pedro Zagalo and Herlander Medinas and the new time recognizing the urgent need to build up to give way to the sounds of a more evident south. In the range of each of its cultural and musical roots, stops and different learning, It is a common space, or Alentejo, land of their origins and where the natural desire to sing and play the origins is increasingly a certainty.
With music production Ruben Alves, the first work of discográco MONDA, has 12 plus an extra tracks and counts on the special participation of the singer Katia Guerreiro, Rui Veloso, Tiago Oliveira and Cantadores Portel Group, among others.
